2025 Vermeer® Surface Miners T1255III Chain Drive

Using a single-drive motor to power the drum allows for the ability to cut an 80° high wall compared to the 45° high wall when using the dual drive attachment.

SmartTEC performance monitoring assists operators with adjustments to machine controls to help improve efficiency and tracks the operational performance of the machine on a consistent platform across all machine models.

Load control allows the machine to automatically adjust ground speed to use full engine horsepower, thus maximizing productivity.

The elevating cab allows optimal visibility and added comfort with the air ride seat. The sealed cab has self-contained heating and air conditioning with sound-attenuating foam. It is also a rollover module (ROM).

Features may include:

  • Get in and extract material close to the high wall – this attachment gives you the capability to cut along a vertical high wall
  • The chains are driven by low-speed, high-torque hydrostatic motors
  • Conduct surface mining extraction, remove ground surface, or create a smooth, level area for site preparation
